The Turton Armlet - Talk at Clitheroe Castle

Our members may be interested in this forthcoming talk organised by Lancashire County Council, exploring a remarkable 4,000-year-old gold armlet dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2100–1900 BC). The armlet was discovered in 2020 by a metal detectorist on the uplands near Turton.
